How many courses can I build in my Litmos account?

As a Litmos client, you can build as many modules and courses in your account as you like. There are no extra costs associated with or limitations on the number of courses you can build in your account or sell online. You can also have as many users as you like set up in your account as pricing is based on active usage which means we calculate the actual number of unique user logins during each billing period (see our [Pricing page](/content/litmos-pricing "Litmos Pricing"/index.html)).

Are my training courses backed up regularly?

Yes. Litmos contracts with service providers to provide daily offsite backups.

Are my training modules, user profiles, test results, etc. safe and secure?

Yes. All Litmos LMS accounts are password protected and when you’re online using Litmos you’re protected by a SSL (HTTPS) secure connection. Our core database and servers are hosted in world class data centers and managed by Azure. Our Frankfurt data center for European customers is hosted on AWS. We also use Amazon’s S3 storage technology to store and serve uploaded files.

How much does Litmos cost?

How do I login to Litmos?

We can help you find your Litmos login URL.

If you have your password right and you can’t login, you might not have Javascript and cookies enabled in your browser. These are required by Litmos to operate effectively. If you continue to have issues, please see our help guide.

Will the Litmos team build my training courses for me?

Litmos has been specifically designed to overcome the often difficult task of building engaging training courses. With the LMS, you can rapidly build training courses by uploading your existing training material. Simply upload your PowerPoint presentations, PDF, Word, Excel, and other related training documents and Litmos will automatically create a training framework around your information.

You can create your own courses using the Content Author tools included in the LMS, or you can purchase online training courses from Litmos.

What are the system requirements to use Litmos LMS?

For optimized viewing, broadband internet connection is recommended.

Litmos makes every effort to test and support the most recent versions of all browsers, and recommends to use the latest stable versions from the below:

Desktop:

  • Web browser:
    • Apple Safari: Latest stable version
    • Google Chrome: Latest stable version
    • Mozilla Firefox: Latest stable version
    • Microsoft Edge: Latest stable version
  • JavaScript and cookies enabled

Mobile devices:

  • Apple iOS devices using Safari mobile web browser
  • Android devices using Google Chrome mobile web browser

Note: Native iOS and Android mobile apps are also available for Litmos Training.

While not a requirement, Litmos is best viewed using a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768px.

In August 2021, Microsoft ceased support for Internet Explorer.

Do I have to download any software?

No! There is no software to download, Litmos is a hosted on-demand training system. You can build, deliver and track training from anywhere you have access to the internet.
